The Roman aquaduct at Ansignan carries pure clear water
- amazingly just as it did 2000 years ago when it was built.
It is a humbling experience to sit on top of this ancient monument which predates christianity and to
feel the cool water flowing as it has for the last two thousand years.
The river Agly runs through the valley.
The water runs along the top of the aquaduct and the middle section is a secluded, shady walkway.
You can reach Ansignan along the D619.
