The kitchen has a gas hob and a small electric oven.
A good-sized fridge (with a small freezing compartment) makes light work of food storage and ensures a chilled
supply of the excellent local rosé! Crockery and utensils are provided.
On arrival at the holiday cottage, the owners provide those little extras which allow you to enjoy a relaxing
start to your holiday - a complimentary bottle of wine and some produce from their own vegetable garden so you
don't have to rush out immediately for basic provisions.
There are several supermarkets and a hypermarché, (Leclerc) only 5 minutes' drive from the holiday cottage. All
the shops in the centre of town are within easy walking distance.
The house has three bedrooms on the main floor - two doubles and one single. The master bedroom faces south
east towards the Canal du Midi and the centre of Carcassonne. With two windows on adjacent walls the room opens to
a cooling breeze, and has a desk and storage shelves
The second spacious bedroom, next door to the shower room, has plenty of wardrobe space and overlooks the
garden.
The whole area is quiet; access is limited to residents only so your good night's sleep is uninterrupted!
The house has two additional extensions. To the side is a small extension which is usually let to family friends.
Underneath the main area is the summer kitchen. This can be accessed either directly from the outside or through
internal stairs at the back of the hallway.
Whilst the summer kitchen is often in use by the owners, it is available to let with the holiday cottage by
prior arrangement and this would provides enough room for a second or extended family. The price for both the
summer kitchen and the main house is 540 Euros per week in high season.
