Summer holidays 2005

We took easyjet from Newcastle through to Barcelona. From there we took a Europcar ( Renault Modus) and headed for the Spanish border. There was a small delay when the instrument panel warned us we were running out of oil...but it turned out this was an electrical fault.However we only found out after pulling into the nearest Europcar depot and swapping the Renault for a Nissan Micra.Very soon we arrived in Olot, where we booked in to the LaPerla hotel.

The next day we headed north for the border. The roads were quiet and 1 hour later we were in France.
