Vernet les Bains

Vernet is a lovely town at the foot of Pic du Canigou.We stayed here the night before our trip on the Yellow train.

 Staying at Vernet.

The Princess hotel at Vernet les Bains is a pleasant and relatively good value hotel. It is situated slightly on the outer edge of the town...but the centre is only a 5 minute walk away. The rooms were clean ( linen changed daily) and we were given a good welcome.
